Common presentation of atretic parietal cephalocele is mostly seen in infants and young children. It is a palpable midline parietal soft tissue mass which is thought to represent involuted true cephalocele (meningocele or encephalocele) connected to dura mater via a fibrous stalk. Parietal cephaloceles were found in 15 infants (10 boys and five girls), and accounted for 37.5% of all cephaloceles.
